Welcome to 2019!

A lot's happened since Grand Final day. Merger talks and declines, newspaper (online) articles, new coach appointment, captain Mick Duncan (reckons) he's retiring, new committee members.

One thing that has remained, and in my years of being involved in the back office for the better part of 8 years has even got stronger recently is that the club is passionate and believe in being a 'Celtic Club' through and through. And by 'club' I wholeheartedly mean players, management, family, supporters and old boys).

The committee has had some recent additions in Tony and Shelley Smales, Kane Morgan and Mick Duncan bringing the committee to total of 7 which is paying real dividends in the whole process of 2019 and future planning with each contributing valuably over the holiday period in advance of 2019.

Also, we're all very excited to announce that Shane Morgan has taken the role of head coach for 2019!

Pre-season starts Wed 23rd 6pm at Kurrawa Surf Club - please see the events page for details, and please not just players feel free to come down and join in to start off the social aspect to the year.

This portal will become our main form of communication for the club. FB will simply be a basic info page pushing the public to here.
The portal/website will house all information regarding to events, player contacts, to training/games, recording attendance, apparel, memberships and key documents it has everything and will ensure that instead of trying to find things through FB chats etc - everything is in ONE place. So please download the app, request to join a group (be it a supporter of a 2018 player), share it with others as it will help us when planning for future in relation to grants, securing valuable sponsorship and growing the club.

With the people involved in the committee, and the recent players forum I'm really excited and invigorated in my role for 2019.
